Finally!

I am done with my internship at the Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce. I wish I could stay but it's nice to complete something. While at the Chamber i made some new friends. Bethany and Kate are basically awesome. I loved when Hailey made the "babe" comment. That was probably my favorite day.

We planned, organized and completed the very first "Christmas in the Night Time Sky." There was a lot of confusion but it was really fun to dress up like an elf. My feet were freezing but Chris was great and brought me another pair of shoes. I was pushing to have a band and booked Anodyne Red and Jennie Hibbert to perform and they did AWESOME! They even played a few songs together. Donna said she kept hearing comments about how great Jennie sounded. I really think Jennie should try out for American Idol.

Next year they are not going to Carol to the Tabernacle but maybe have the talent show at the park. I suggested a lot of other things like a craft corner for kids or "Reindeer Races." I hope we are here for Christmas so we can go and see what changes. I can't believe I said that I hope we are in Rexburg another year...

Now I'm not sure what to do next. I'm looking into opening up a small store/kiosk/idk at the "Mall on Main" for Buttons. There are just a few details I have to work out. I only worry about Copy Rights but I don't have that many. Just pictures of people like Edward from Twilight.

Rock My World

The guy who owns the building that the Chamber of Commerce is in owns another one that he is dividing up and renting out smaller spaces. It is for more home based businesses that want to expand. ITS ONLY $50 A MONTH!!!!!! If only....

The Crave

check out Pom Pom Chocolates. She is ironically my sister Christina's old room mate. she started a small business and makes good chocolate. But I mention her because she makes the BEST dried apples. I don't know what she does but they have sort of a caramelized sugar and some Cinnamon. They are crunchy but still soft, sweet and then tart. WOWOWOW! I just had a taste when Janet from the Chamber bought 5 bags for her neighbors. I think I will do the same. I get my first bag tomorrow!!

Today I spent part of it making treats for friends. I plan on dragging Chris to do "Reverse Trick or Treat" to some people. And yes, I stole that reverse idea from the Maces, they did it when I think I was about 16 :)

So tired.. but last night I slept ALL night! I didn't even wake up at 6 (w/o the alarm). I usually wake up and can tell that it is 6 a.m. but I'm not supposed to get up till 8! Chris says I should just get up at 6 but its so early! I know 6 isn't really that early, its a good reasonable time. 5 is early! Seminary for 4 years waking up at 5 is early. But anyway the point is that I SLEPT ALL NIGHT!!! I was so happy that I slept all night that someone who keeps calling me "kid" all day didn't even bother me that much. And my design got approved in only 3 tries instead of 500 like this person that calls me kid. Just a little triumph. Perhaps this person should listen to my ideas instead of being rude.

Chris is dressed all fancy because he has a presentation today about botulism. He looks pretty good. He even busted out the leather jacket! Botulism is scary! He did his presentation to me last night for practice. He is so smart. At the Grad Fair, not to brag, but he asked the schools what he could do to help him stand out and when he told them his GPA they said he would get an interview for sure.

I have the Sister T recipe for Chocolate Pie and can not wait to make it!! Thanks!

Life is going great! I've got my man, and I am keeping busy. Just to update you. I am still doing my internship. I have been assigned to plan the event "Christmas in the Night Time Sky." We are just starting but so far I have found a trolley service for the hour and a half event at the park!! And the glow sticks we buy every year, I found a great price! Now if we could just get the flyer situated. I am trying to be patient but the girl I am working with is using clip art!! You can still see the box around the picture. I'm not very good, but every time I try to make a suggestion, she wiggs out. I'll just go with it I guess. Clip art....

Chris is in the other room studying hard. I feel so bad for him because he has so much to do. I try to help him study but it's hard for me because I have NO idea what any of it means. I just make acronyms and try to find ways to help even if it to listen while he repeats it.

My candy machine is finally up!! It is at Dan's Delicious Drive-In. I didn't know that the middle console was just for one inch bubble gum so when you shake the machine candy comes out. Chris' family has had a lot of fun teasing me. We went up this weekend to fix it and I didn't hear the end of it. I hope they are having fun. I even drew pictures of them shaking it and my father in law showed other people! Chris said I should feel special because he never does that. After the first picture, they kept finding paper for me to draw more on. I haven't drawn during church since I was seven.

Last night we went to play Lazar tag again. The league starts in 3 weeks!! We are so ready! Last week out team won 79,000 to 35,000. This week was 82,000 to 45,000!! I'm going to come up with my symbol for my shirt tonight since I don't work. After Lazar tag almost everyone came over and had ice cream. I found out that my visiting teacher is my neighbor because she came over and even brought cake.

James called me!! At 2 a.m. asking what my World of Warcraft character's name was. Now I really want to play again. But #1: its a monthly fee; however I could just do the 10 trial. #2 I would have to play at 2 a.m. because that's when he gets off of work. I love hearing from him, but I was sooo tired. I don't even remember what else I talked about. I think I went on and on about the new expansion that is coming out. Yes I am a nerd.

And I do have to say that Jane is SOOOOOOO cute! I love the video Christina sent me on my phone. It's now my background and plays over and over. It is Jane rolling over!! I am so jealous that Josh, Mom, and Dad got to play with her! I can't wait till Christmas to see her in Utah. Hopefully.

Stepping Out

This is a glance at our new apartment. It is not as big as the one at main street station but around the corner from the kitchen is a washer and dryer!! And it feels more like a house. Above is our living room which is not attached to the kitchen! There is a hall that connects them.

Here are a few pictures from this summer. Josh my mom and dad came to visit. This is all of us (minus me) at Bear World. I never thought I would go there but it was fun. I mostly liked the rides in the car talking and laughing. The last major trip the running joke was calling Josh "trash bag" this time it was the fact that the car had "4x4" and we could basically fly. That car could do anything!

In July we went to Orem to see the Brinkerhoffs and Baby Jane!! This is her swimming for the first time. She seemed to like it. It was scary to hold her I thought she would break. But I also thought she was just going to start talking and walking like a normal person. Christina and Brandt are great parents!

Today I have vacuumed (everywhere!) cleaned the kitchen, 2 loads of laundry, swept and mopped, cleaned the bathroom (almost, not around the toilet because we are having it looked at today). I even swept the car port (needed much) and washed the car.

I have a hugely stuffed up head but after a meeting fell though about buttons I was frustrated enough to deep clean.

THE BEST THING HAPPENED. I was strolling through Broulims searching for non-Mexican food to feed Chris and I found this!

I also got the Orange Chicken Sauce!!!! I grabbed a bag of Tyson Chicken Strips and green onion and was set to make the best meal ever!!! Chris has eaten Orange chicken and fried rice for lunch, dinner and now lunch again. I can't wait to make the Kung Pao. My mouth is watering now.

Did I mention I just filled an order for 100 buttons?!?!
